The best businesses around Basingstoke and Deane have been crowned at the Inspire Business Awards 2024.

Trophies were presented to the winners of 12 categories and also a Winner of Winners at the prestigious and glittering event at Oakley Hall on July 11.

Organised by Destination Basingstoke, a not-for-profit organisation that showcases and celebrates people, businesses and communities in Basingstoke and Deane, the 2024 event was attended by more than 300 guests.

It was a red letter night for all the winners with two of them – Milk Club and The Champion Group – taking home two trophies.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council was the headline sponsor of the 2024 awards, and also among the category sponsors.

Jonathan Pender, chair of Destination Basingstoke, said: “Destination Basingstoke is delighted to organise and deliver this special event which puts the spotlight on amazing people and businesses in the Basingstoke and Deane business community.

“Massive thanks to the category sponsors, event partners and everyone involved in helping Team DB to create a marvellous and memorable night. Well done to all the finalists, and congratulations to the wonderful winners.”

Former Hampshire and England cricketer Shaun Udal was a VIP guest and co-compere at this year’s awards. Shaun, who is owner/director at Professional Workwear in Basingstoke, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019 and is a supporter of Sport Parkinson’s – this year’s INSPIRE Business Awards charity. Nearly £1,500 was raised for the charity on the night.
