Asian investor market specialist Douglas joins Knights' Portsmouth office as Partner

Douglas Fordham, a residential lawyer and Asian investor market specialist, has joined Knights’ Portsmouth office as a Partner.

The professional services firm hopes Douglas’ appointment, which brings more than 25 years’ experience working on the purchase of new builds and development projects, will help it to attract more international investor clients.

Douglas has a reputation in South East Asia, having acted for investors who have purchased property in many high profile developments in London and throughout the UK.

He said: “I am really excited to join an already established and successful new build team and to have the opportunity to expand the international offering.”

He is based in the business’ Portsmouth office and is joined by Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking solicitor Sharon Lai. They will work together to strengthen the team’s relationships with international investors.
