Colleagues from Spectrum IT have recently launched Women in Tech Hampshire, a group for like-minded women to learn together and network.
Amy Lee and Lauren James will host their first session next January, with plans to alternate between in person networking events and remote educational webinars every other month.
“We’re very passionate about women being well represented in business and the tech industry, so we’ve created this group with the aim to host events and build a great community”, said Lauren.
“We also want it to be an educational platform for businesses to see how they can help support women in their company and the industry.”
The first event will run from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 16th January at Southampton Science Park, with some time to network before and after.
Amy and Lauren have also set up a LinkedIn group to share updates for the events, sponsored by Spectrum IT.
