A Hampshire accountancy firm underscored its commitment to community engagement and preparedness by hosting a team-building and life-saving skills session.
Lewis Brownlee held the event at The Queens Hotel, Southsea, in partnership with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
As well as critical CPR and defibrillator training, the session included an immersive helicopter flight simulator, offering a unique view into the high-stakes, life-saving missions undertaken by the air ambulance.
Representatives from the charity also delivered an inspiring talk, sharing their expertise and dedication to providing critical emergency response services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Andrea Todorov, Director, Lewis Brownlee, said the training had empowered the firm’s with essential knowledge to respond effectively in emergencies, helping to bring life-saving skills directly to the heart of their community.
She added: “At Lewis Brownlee, our commitment to supporting our community extends well beyond our accountancy core.
“By hosting this event, we aimed to create a meaningful opportunity for our staff to engage with the incredible work of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and to learn skills that could potentially save lives.”
Lewis Brownlee also invited staff members from The Queens Hotel to participate in the event.
It was held just a week after the firm’s team raised £575 to fund a flight suit to protect the air ambulance’s paramedics and doctors during emergency missions.
