“A great occasion” as Lewis-Manning opens new Ringwood shop

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care has opened a new shop in Ringwood.

Set on Southampton Road in the town centre, the charity’s new House Clearance shop was opened by Ringwood’s Mayor, Cllr Gareth DeBoos with his Consort, Cllr Mary DeBoos, and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Rae Frederick.

The celebratory opening event gave the local community the chance to be impressed by the brand-new shop while enjoying refreshments.

The House Clearance Shop for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care in Ringwood was officially opened by town mayor Cllr Gareth DeBoos.

The shop, which is Lewis-Manning’s eighth, is opening due to a constantly growing demand for its house-clearing services along with an increased need to raise vital funds for its charity services.

The Mayor said: “what a shop, packed full of fantastic and sustainable bargains – definitely worth a visit!

“It’s a brilliant addition to the town and it’s been a real honour being asked along today to officially open it.”

Susan Newcombe, Lewis-Manning’s Director of retail, added: “It was a great occasion opening our 8th hospice shop today. Our team and the contractors have put their heart and soul into making the new shop as spectacular as it can be.

“We believe that our shops are not just somewhere you can pick up a bargain or drop off your preloved items.

“They’re a place you can come to find out more about our services, fundraising events, volunteering, and a place for you to recycle your preloved things and prevent them going to landfill, helping to save the planet!
