The Northbrook Arms country inn in East Stratton is looking forward to the year ahead with the announcement of a new management team.
Having acquired the site in April 2019, Owners Kate and Adam Shanley have since completed a three-year renovation project which came to an end in Autumn of last year, followed by further improvements over a three month period.
The project included the addition of four self-catering accommodation units which boost the pub’s offering alongside its bar, new restaurant and function room.
With the first two phases of building works now complete, the pair have introduced a new leadership team to guide The Northbrook Arms.
Colin Savory, an accomplished Head Chef with extensive experience in the pub sector, brings his culinary expertise to elevate the dining experience. Alex Abrey, previously operating London-based pubs, assumes the role of General Manager as well as Lisa Knight, Head of Housekeeping, who has been maintaining high standards in the self-catering accommodation since 2021.
Kate commented: “The Northbrook Arms has been a labour of love for us. We’re proud of the transformations and enhancements we’ve made, particularly through the challenging trading conditions of the last few years, setting the stage for an exciting future for the pub.”
