New hire Mark brings ‘fresh energy and innovative ideas’ to logistics arm of 5 Villages Group

5 Villages Group, which operates in the logistics, distribution and manufacturing industries, has welcomed Mark Houghton to the team.

Mark brings more than 15 years’ experience in the global supply chain to his new role as managing director of 5VG’s logistics and distribution arm.

He’ll be responsible for the continued growth of the business – including brands like Hampshire haulier Drumcross and Kitson Recycling in Andover – as well as supporting the board on special projects.

“I’m thrilled to take up this position and look forward to bringing fresh energy and innovative ideas to enhance our portfolio”, said Mark.

“I recognize the challenges ahead and the complexities of scaling multiple diverse business adventures.

“I look forward to working together with the team and building a brighter future.”
