toob has crossed the Hampshire border – and then some – as the broadband provider officially opens an office in Stockton-on-Tees.
With their HQ in Portsmouth and satellite offices in and beyond the county, the new office up in Durham will serve as a centre for customer service and sales.
CEO Nick Parbutt joined Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen in Stockton to accompany him on a full tour of the office and share toob’s future plans for the business.
“It was an honour to meet with Mayor Houchen to mark the opening of our new office”, said Nick.
“Our values have affordability and customer care at their core, and our customer focus has driven the expansion to Stockton-on-Tees, which is where some of toob’s customer service will take place.”
The move was motivated by a strong local skill base in the region, with toob now keen to drive recruitment for the new site.
Mayor Houchen added: “Improved digital infrastructure is crucial to unlocking the full potential of businesses across Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool.
“So I’m delighted toob have chosen our region to create new jobs in the rollout of high-speed broadband through their latest expansion.
“Faster, more reliable services are vital to keeping our region connected and competitive, and that’s exactly what toob will help us achieve with a new base in Stockton.”
