Rushmoor Borough Council is organising an open event to hear from residents, groups and businesses about a new leisure and cultural hub planned for Farnborough town centre.
Locals can hear from the architects about the proposals and stay up to date on wider civic quarter developments in the area – including plans to create more spaces for arts and cultural events.
They’ll also have the opportunity to share thoughts on how they’d like the centre to look and feel, how they’d like to use it, and the sorts of activities they’d like to see there.
Cllr Martin Tennant, Deputy Leader of Rushmoor Borough Council, said: “These are exciting times as we plan the detail of the new leisure and cultural hub.
“Our message is that this will be your facility and therefore we need get it right for you – so please join in and be part of its future.”
Two sessions are planned for Wednesday 22nd November – the first from 4:30pm to 6pm, and the second from 6:30pm to 8pm.
Each will take place at the council offices on Farnborough Road and is open to all.
