Law firm Moore Barlow has appointed Victoria Charlesson as a Senior Associate within its Real Estate Team.

She’ll be based in Southampton but support colleagues across all the firm’s six offices with planning-related matters.

Victoria specialises in various aspects of town and country planning law, demonstrating particular expertise in planning appeals, public inquiries, and Section 106 agreements.

With more than ten years of experience as a planning and environmental law solicitor, she has a wealth of knowledge in highway law and environmental law, acting for a wide range of clients, including house builders, developers, landowners and public bodies.

Her expertise includes advising on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters, such as complex Section 278/38 Agreements, Compulsory Purchase Orders and Environment Agency prosecutions, including waste prosecutions.

Victoria said: “I am excited to join a firm with such an innovative and inclusive culture.

“Collectively the team has built a first-rate reputation in the market and I look forward to supporting the firm’s clients.”

Mark Grant, Real Estate and Land Development Partner, said: “I know I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we are thrilled to welcome Victoria to the team.

“Her reputation and proficiency in many aspects of planning and development will enrich and strengthen the team’s offering here at Moore Barlow.”

Victoria was recognised as an ‘Associate to Watch’ by Chambers UK in 2019.
