Utilita Energy are repping Hampshire across the border as they finalise sponsorship of the Cardiff International Arena – now Utilita Arena Cardiff.
It’s the city’s largest purpose-built live music and events venue, offering the Eastleigh firm a chance to gain a strong foothold in Wales.
Their charity partner, Utilita Giving, is also set to support those impacted by fuel and food poverty in the region through fundraising and free advice.
Jem Maidment, Chief Marketing Officer at Utilita, said: “It’s an absolute honour to see our name above the door to one of the UK’s greatest venues.
“We’ll use this partnership to become a staple part of the local community.
“This isn’t just about the music, comedy, and performances – we want our presence to be felt through the crucial support that we, and Utilita Giving, can offer.
“It seems our timing is apt, as recent data shows 55 per cent of people in Wales believe their home isn’t energy efficient.
“Cardiff, we’re really motivated to spread our support now that we’re here, and we will make a difference.”
Utilita is no stranger to the live performance scene, having secured naming rights partnerships at arenas in Newcastle, Birmingham and Sheffield.
They’ve also worked with music festivals like Parklife, Creamfields and Bestival.
