It opened at the end of last year, becoming their fourth Nissan dealership in the South of England.

Hendy Group CEO Paul Hendy and Nissan brand manager Paul Hughes were there to welcome Andrew, who was joined by Nissan GB’s network development and customer quality director Csaba Vincze.

Andrew HumberstoneAndrew said: “I’m extremely impressed by what I’ve seen here today – ecstatic in fact!

“We’re extremely proud of our partnership with Hendy Group.

“This new dealership is absolutely wonderful and I wish everyone concerned at Hendy Southampton all the very best for the future.”

The building features solar panels, EV charging points and ground-source heat pumps throughout, with complimentary wi-fi and refreshments for visitors.

Paul Hendy said: “We’ve got off to a flying start at our new dealership and I’m pleased to say we’ve had a brilliant reaction from customers.

“This development reinforces our commitment to the Southampton area.

“The facilities are outstanding and the team and our customers are delighted.”

Paul HendyPaul also thanked Eastleigh Borough Council, whom he said had been ‘brilliant to work with’ during the design and build process.

“The investment we’ve made here is very much part of our long-term expansion plans”, he added.

“What we’ve created is truly state-of-the-art and something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Paul Hughes echoed his enthusiasm, noting that the workshop had been very busy since opening – as had the showroom.

“We’ve settled in really well”, he said.

“We’ve seen good footfall already and the number of enquiries is growing all the time, so we’re feeling super positive about the future.”
