Venture Security, an independent Andover business, is celebrating 18 years protecting homes and businesses across the South.
Founded in 2006, Venture Security has grown from a team of three to now employ more than 200 people.
The company has achieved average growth of 33 per cent year on year since 2017 and is ranked within the top 0.5 per cent of UK security providers by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
Venture currently protects more than 400 sites across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset, including Stonehenge, Salisbury and Newbury Racecourses and The Roman Baths.
The company provides mobile security patrols, static guarding and key holding and alarm response.
It also recently expanded its offering with the launch of remote CCTV monitoring, delivered by operators at the company’s purpose-built operations centre in Andover.
Paul Howe, founder and managing director of Venture Security, said: “Celebrating our 18th birthday is a huge milestone.
“I’m so grateful to our amazing customers who continue to put their trust in us, as well as our growing team who are out there making a difference every single day.
“We’re committed to investing in our team, technology and processes, which together enable us to continually raise the bar for our customers.
“The creation of our new operations centre and the launch of our real-time video surveillance monitoring service is just the latest example of this, further adding to the many ways we’re helping keep people, property and assets safe.”
Working with both private and public sector organisations, Venture’s customers range from small businesses to events organisers – and household names like Stannah Stairlifts, Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals, Simplyhealth, Wiltshire Council and Help for Heroes.
Venture’s officers also operate in towns and city centres, supporting local councils and business improvement districts (BIDs).
Paul added: “I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved to date.
“We have a strong team and the systems and processes in place that we need to scale up even further.”
