Dibden Manor in the New Forest has been acquired by Outcomes First Group, which will soon begin converting the property to house a new Special Educational Needs (SEN) day school.

Overseen by Keygrove Chartered Surveyors, the site was formerly occupied by a training centre and includes a mix of classroom space, facilities and living accommodation.

Lauren Udall, Director of Keygrove, said: “Enquiries for this 11,700 sq ft property came from a variety of occupiers including hoteliers, wedding planners and office occupiers.

“But with extensive grounds and an internal layout to suit a teaching environment we believe this will provide a wonderful school for the young people who use it.”

Bolton-based Outcomes First Group provides care for around 750 young people and adults with autism and complex social, emotional and mental health needs. The new site at Dibden Manor will add to the 37 other schools it currently operates.

Tim Brown, Property Development Manager for Outcomes First Group, added: “It was a pleasure working with Keygrove who surpassed themselves in securing the site, obtaining the planning and liaising with the multitudes of parties involved in bringing the project to a conclusion.”
