Property people of Hampshire came together recently for the launch of Nested Southampton, whose founder has pledged to take a “modern approach” to estate agency.
Local entrepreneur Chris Schutrups welcomed 200 local businesspeople, residents and friends to Figurati Italian restaurant in Southampton – another of his businesses.
Chris also owns The Mortgage Hut, one of the UK’s largest mortgage operations.
But all eyes now are on his latest venture, Nested, which has already secured 15 new property listings in its first month of operation.
“Southampton deserves an estate agency that puts customers first and leverages the best tools and strategies to deliver exceptional results,” said Chris.
“Our team is passionate about achieving the highest possible value for our vendors, and we’re thrilled to introduce this fresh approach to a traditional business model.”
Heading up that team is property veteran and local landlord David Bland.
He and colleagues will focus on leveraging social media and professional marketing services to maximise value for property vendors.
“What sets Nested Southampton apart is our combination of local knowledge and cutting-edge technology,” Chris added.
“This is an estate agency powered by people, enabled by incredible technology.
“It’s about making the process easier, faster and more rewarding for everyone involved.”
