Freya Rose recently held their charity gala in support of The Prince’s Trust, with Hampshire accountants Lewis Brownlee coming aboard as headline sponsor.
Together with more than 100 guests, they managed to raise over £10,000 for the charity’s ‘Change a Girl’s Life’ initative – supporting disadvantaged young women across the UK by providing mentorship and opportunities in education and employment.
Following a champagne reception and three-course meal, Andrea Todorov, Lewis Brownlee’s Head of Whiteley, stepped up to lead the balloon popping ceremony.
Participants could buy a balloon in the foyer, with all proceeds going to the Prince’s Trust and the winner receiving a £300 Fortnum and Mason Christmas Hamper.
The big reveal came when all guests popped their balloons at once, releasing a shower of orange confetti – except for one, which revealed the winning white confetti.
The event also featured a luxury raffle and auction, as well as a guest speaker from the Prince’s Trust, who spoke on the work done by the #changeagirlslife initiative.
It was a particularly fitting charity for Freya Rose to raise money for, as Freya herself was supported by The Prince’s Trust at the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey.
A spokesperson for Freya Rose London said: “This is an incredible 360 moment for us to now be holding a second annual gala in support of the charity she’s so passionate about”
“Supporting Freya Rose and The Prince’s Trust in this gala was not just a sponsorship”, said the Lewis Brownlee team.
“It was a declaration of our dedication to social responsibility and the empowerment of the next generation of women.
“It was an honour to contribute to such a meaningful cause and witness the tangible excitement and hope generated through our collaboration.
“We’re thrilled to have played a pivotal role in the success of this event.”
