At the head of Andover’s Business Improvement District is a team of dedicated volunteer directors helping to steer the town’s business success.
The board features members of all different industries and sectors, from leisure to restaurants to gift shops, and they all came together recently for a Meet the Directors evening in the heart of the city centre.
It was a chance to share the group’s positive impact over the past few months with local business owners and leaders – chief among them being a notable boost to footfall on the high street.
BID Manager Steve Godwin was keen to highlight the vital role of the Town Rangers in this effort, who work to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors and shoppers.
The evening also offered plenty of opportunities for networking and exchange of ideas, helping to bring the town and its businesses closer together.
Ange Moon, BID Chair and CEO of Citizens Advice Test Valley, said: “The evening emphasized the spirit of collaboration and dedication within our business community.
“Our volunteer directors play a vital role in shaping the future of Andover’s business landscape, and this event exemplified their commitment to driving positive change for the benefit of all.”
