The proportion of women in the construction industry has shown little change over the last decade according to ONS figures, representing just 13 per cent of the workforce.
So to mark International Women’s Day last month, Barratt Homes released a video showing how the company was making a difference.
Employees from the company’s Southern Region came together to discuss how times are changing for women in the industry and how this is being driven by the emergence of female role models.
