Peter Cooper Motor Group has been chosen to represent up-and-coming automotive brands OMODA and JAECOO, part of Chinese car giant Chery, as they make their debut in the UK market.
The family-run dealer will show off the new models at its revamped Volkswagen showrooms in Southampton and Chichester, making them multi-franchised outlets.
Both locations also offer a full range of servicing and repair options.
The OMODA 5 has already arrived at the group’s Shirley Road showroom and is now available to test drive and purchase, with prices starting at £25,235 for a petrol automatic and £33,035 for the fully electric model.
JAECOO comes to the UK later this year with the J7 mid-size SUV, fitted with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

These new franchises follow the group’s acquisition of Viking Garages Kia last year, now renamed to Peter Cooper Kia and situated at a new site in Hedge End, Southampton.
The group currently operates 17 businesses across Hampshire and West Sussex.
